Two ways to make a pledge are:
The CCS READ A THON begins today and will continue through Monday, October 5th! Students will begin tracking their reading minutes at home and in the classroom. If your student has not brought back their 5 READ-A-THON forms, please return ASAP so they can receive their READ-A-THON T-SHIRT! Students will wear their READ-A-THON t-shirt on Thursday of this week for the BIG READ OUT DAY!! We still need a few more volunteers who can read to classes this week and parents who can provide a themed snack. Please see the sign up board located at the main school entrances for more details.
This week will be filled with several fun activities that will encourage our students to read and also build their LOVE for reading! The BOOK WAGON will also be available during student Library times. Students can buy a book for $.25 and/or trade a book they have brought from home for a book from the BOOK WAGON! We will also be featuring “Bedtime Stories” on CCS Facebook. Each night their will be prerecorded “bedtime stories” students and families can view/listen to! These “bedtime stories” will count as reading minutes on student reading logs! Lastly, don’t forget to make a pledge on your students 99 Pledges READ-A-THON pledge page!
- Flat donation: You can sponsor a student with a flat donation amount.
- Pledge per minute: You can pledge an amount for minutes read. Counted minutes read will begin on Monday, September 28th and continue through Monday, October 5th.
All of the money raised for this year’s READ-A-THON fundraiser will go towards operating expenses for this school year. Your generous support and contributions make it possible for Canyonside Christian School to continue as a leading educational provider in our community!
