My name Krista Glodowski and I am the K2 teacher at CCS. I spent 7 years as a student at CCS from K5 – 6th Grade. This is my 4th year as a teacher at CCS. I believe that K2 is all about having as much fun as possible, while still learning. I have created a fun and loving classroom from my students to learn through play and lots of Disney!
My parents are Ryan and Darynn Glodowski. They own a car lot in Jerome called Country Auto and they recently celebrated their 21st anniversary for the car lot. My parents have been such a huge inspiration to me, it has been such a great learning experience to see where hard work and dedication can get you, and I strive to be like them every day inside and out of my classroom. I also have a little brother named Preston who is 17 years old and is a junior at Jerome High School. I love camping, being outdoors, photography, and doing crafts.
In 2013 I lost my grandpa to Parkinson’s Disease. He was a very special person in my life that was taken from this world way to soon. It was a very difficult time for me, and I tried with all my heart to understand why he was taken from us so soon. Even after a couple of years it was still hard for me to process, some days I felt like I understood and others I would break down and cry. One day I had an opportunity to interview for the K2 position here at CCS, and just like that everything changed. I realized I won’t always understand why everything happens, but I do know that it’s all in God’s plan and I need to put my full trust in Him. I have been shown so much love and support after being back at CCS. I have made so many friends that have turned into family and I realized that is was 100% God’s plan for me to be back at Canyonside. And now I know the meaning of having sisters in Christ, and for that I will be forever grateful.
