CCS Newsletter March 11 – 15

We had a wonderful Chapel service this morning led by 1st Grade.  Mrs. Danielle’s class shared with us what the word “Faith” means and how having “faith” in our own lives can strengthen our relationship with God…. and others!  The Bible verse for the month is; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.”  Proverbs 3: 5-6.  Next week, Pastor Will from Renew in Jerome will be sharing his insights on faith with us!

In honor of Dr. Seuss and National Reading month, Ms. Cole (K4 teacher) will be hosting a family Reading Night on Tuesday, March 12th, in the CCS Library!  The night will include imagination stations, refreshments, and of course books, books, and more books!  Times for the Reading Night will be from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 18th – 21st.  We will have full days of school on these four days and conferences will be held from 3:30 – 8:00 p.m. on these days.  There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 22nd, but the EXCEL program will be available for children who are signed up.  Teachers will be sending home conference notes this week with the date and time of your child/children’s conference.  If the date and/or time does not work for you, please let your child’s teacher know ASAP so a new time and/or date can be scheduled for you.  This will be the last schoolwide Parent Teacher Conference of this school year and teachers are looking forward to sharing with you how your student is progressing!  We do ask that no students or siblings are brought to the conference and appreciate your support and understanding. 😊

Spring Pictures by Summer Brander Photography!

On April 3rd and 4th, Summer Brander Photography will be here to take spring pictures of CCS students! Proof sheets will be available for parents to view and make selections.  A digital flyer will be attached to this week’s newsletter for more information!

Student Cowboy Boots

If you were unable to attend the CCS auction on March 2nd or forgot to buy your student’s “work of art cowboy boot,” we have several still available in the school office!  The price of each boot is $20, and all proceeds of “boot sales” go directly back to your student’s classroom budget for the school year!
