Auction Night Childcare – It’s a Pajama Party!!

CCS will be offering childcare for children 2 years thru 5th grade (in the Multipurpose room at CCS) the night of the auction. We will be providing pizza and drinks for dinner along with a fun- filled night of games and movies!  The theme for the evening is “PAJAMA PARTY”, so we encourage all children to come dressed in their favorite pajamas!  Parents are required to sign children up for this event. Sign – up sheets are located beside the Multipurpose room doors. Childcare will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be offered by donation.

Green Eggs, Pancakes and Ham Lunch

Dr. Seuss Week is March 4th – 7th! We will have a school wide green eggs, pancake and ham lunch on Thursday, March 7th.  A sign-up sheet for items needed is located in the main hallway. We are still in need of a few volunteers to help prepare food and serve on this day. If you would like to help, please stop by the office to let us know and/or see the sign – up sheet in the foyer. It will also be a “SCHOOL WIDE PAJAMA DAY” and an “ALL SCHOOL READ OUT” on that Thursday.

In honor of Dr. Seuss week and National Reading month, CCS will be hosting a family Reading Night on Thursday, March 12th  in the CCS Library!  The night will include imagination stations, refreshments, and of course books, books, and more books!  Times will be from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  More information to come in the next week.

Student Photos

Parents, family members and/or guardians of CCS students, we would ask that you please be mindful when you are taking pictures of CCS students and placing them on the internet/personal facebook pages.  We have a number of families who have not given permission for their student’s photos to be used over the internet and we want to abide by their wishes.

Spirit Day on Thursday

Because we had a SNOW DAY last Thursday, February 21st, we will be having Tie Dye, Spirit Day, on Thursday of this week!  All CCS students are encouraged to wear their Tie Dye apparel on this day!

Tardy Policy

All CCS student’s (ages 2 years – 5th Grade) are considered “tardy” for school if they arrive after 8:15 a.m..  Please keep in mind the importance of having your student at school, on time, ready and prepared to go for the school day.  We appreciate your cooperation and support!
