During the month of February, Mrs. Marten’s 2nd Grade class will be talking to us about God’s amazing love, and how His love is not just a feeling but a REAL love that happens no matter what. It never fades with time and it never stops because we have sinned…. God’s love is the most PERFECT love because it comes from our Father in heaven who created us in His image!
This is the “week of LOVE” and we will be celebrating God’s PERFECT love and love for one another on Thursday, February 14th! Classroom Valentine parties will be happening on this day along with Valentine Grams being delivered to CCS students! If you have not placed your student’s order for a Valentine Gram, stop by the main office today! 😊
Auction Basket’s Needed!
We need your help in donating a “special, one of a kind” gift basket for the Boots and Bling auction! A sign- up sheet with suggested basket donation ideas, is located in the main hallway OR you can donate a one of a kind basket, that you have created yourself! If you are unable to put together a whole basket, but may be able to donate a few items, we would greatly appreciate the thought! All donated items go towards raising money for CCS! We would appreciate if all baskets could be brought to the school no later than Wednesday, February 27th.
Registration for all CCS families has started for the fall of 2019. Registration forms can be picked up in the office. If you register your student for the upcoming school year by February 15th, you will receive $50.00 off your registration fee. If you register your student before March 8th, you will receive $25.00 off your registration fee.
CCS Illness Policy
Unfortunately, it is that “time of year” when everyone is getting the flu. This is a friendly reminder of our school illness policy: For the welfare of your child and others in the school, all children who are sick must be kept home. Your child is considered sick and should not be brought to school when he/she has: a temperature, a runny nose that is not clear, runny or pink eyes, a contagious infection, or he/she has been vomiting in the last 12 hours. All children are required to go to recess unless there is a medical reason and a note from the child’s doctor.
