Annual Events

We all enjoy many events throughout the school year!

Character Parade

October 31st, 2022
All of our students pick a favorite book character and then come to school on Character Parade Day dressed up as that character.  Families of the students are invited to come and share the day with the students and support reading by cheering their students on.  This year our Character Parade was followed by a Harvest Festival where local businesses, our local Fire Department, our local Police Department, and other families joined in to celebrate the fall season. We enjoy trunk-in-treating, bounce houses, a petting zoo, cakewalks, a food drive, and a coat drive for the community.

Thanksgiving Feast

November 18th, 2022
“And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Our Parent Teacher Fellowship team puts on a full Thanksgiving Dinner with all the fixings. The students dress up in colonial costumes for the event. It is an amazing day to see all the students and staff lined up in the hallway eating a full Thanksgiving feast in our beautifully decorated school. Prayer is always said before we eat, giving Glory to God.

Book Fair

April 10th - 14th, 2023
We celebrate reading with our annual Book Fair.

Christmas Program

December 15th, 2022
The Christmas Program is enjoyed every December. We start practicing our songs and skits in early October. The students perform in front of all their families and friends.  It is such an amazing concert, to see children of all ages glorifying Jesus during the Christmas season.

Grandparent's Day

September 30th, 2022
Students get to show their grandparents their classroom and let them see how their classroom is decorated and run.

Easter Egg Hunt

Easter
All students get to participate in our Easter Egg Hunt to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection at Easter.

Dr. Seuss Week

February 28th - March 3rd, 2023
We serve Green Eggs and Ham to our students to celebrate Dr. Seuss Week, and to remember how much fun it is to read!

Speech Meet

April 14th, 2023
Our Kindergarten and Elementary students learn to memorize poems or scripture and then present them to their families. This event helps give our students the confidence to be able to speak in front of a group.

Teddy Bear Week

For our preschoolers, we have a Teddy Bear Week in which all the preschoolers get to bring a favorite Teddy Bear and keep it here at school.
